The Ada County Coroner’s Office on Friday released the identity of a 49-year-old Boise woman who died days after her minivan collided with a parked vehicle in a Garden City parking lot.

Melissa Bell was pronounced dead early Tuesday morning after being in critical condition at a hospital since the Dec. 12 incident, a press release from the coroner’s office stated.

According to the Garden City Police Department, officers on scene found a beige Chrysler Pacifica collided with an unoccupied vehicle in a parking lot in the 7300 block of W. State Street. Bell was found pinned between two cars and unresponsive.

An ambulance took Bell to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

The Garden City Police Department is still investigating the incident.
