Rollover crash leaves Mountain Home teen dead, another hospitalized
A rollover crash involving a single vehicle killed a Mountain Home teenager and left another teen in the hospital early Saturday. Idaho State Police are investigating.
Police said in a news release that the crash occurred at about 12:36 a.m. on Outback Road south of Carl Hickey Road in Elmore County.
A teen boy was driving a 1987 Dodge Dakota heading north on Outback Road, the release stated. The vehicle left the rural road and overturned.
The driver died at the scene; another teenage boy in the truck was taken to a hospital by an air ambulance.
Police say neither was wearing a seat belt.
