Update: The Chinden Boulevard and Maple Grove Road intersection is open again after two people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Boise Police Department also corrected a previous statement on the number of vehicles involved, saying it was just two and not three.

The Boise Police Department asked the public to avoid the intersection of Chinden Boulevard and Maple Grove Road in Garden City after a multiple-car collision Tuesday afternoon.

Boise police responded to the ”injury crash,” according to a Facebook post. All lanes west of the intersection were closed, and traffic is being rerouted through a nearby neighborhood, the post stated.

Boise police asked drivers to avoid the area as they investigated and cleared the scene.
