Coroner identifies Boise motorcyclist killed in I-84 exit ramp crash

Officials released the name of a Boise motorcyclist who died as a result of a Meridian crash last week.

Ryan Waddell, 51, of Boise, was pronounced dead at 10:05 a.m. Sept. 2 in the intensive care unit of Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, according to the Ada County Coroner’s Office. He was in a single-vehicle accident on his motorcycle at the exit 42 off-ramp of Interstate 84, which goes to Ten Mile Road, according to the coroner.

The coroner listed Waddell’s cause and manner of death as “pending.”

The Idaho State Police and Meridian Police Department did not respond to the Idaho Statesman’s requests for additional information about the accident.
