Ada County coroner identifies woman who died in Treasure Valley collision
The Ada County Coroner’s Office on Thursday released the identity of a woman who died after a Caldwell car crash.
Sheila Dawson, 78, of Caldwell, was involved in a two-vehicle collision on Sunday at the South Florida Avenue and Key West Street intersection. Dawson was taken to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise and pronounced dead in the intensive care unit at 11:40 p.m Tuesday.
The coroner listed her cause of death as traumatic blunt force injuries and the manner of death as accidental.
The Caldwell Police Department is investigating the accident.
Police did not immediately fulfill the Idaho Statesman’s request for more information.
