Motorcyclist hospitalized with critical injuries after crash near Nampa

A motorcyclist was seriously injured early Sunday morning in a crash in Canyon County.

At 12:34 a.m., a 46-year-old Nampa man was driving a motorcycle south on Idaho 45 when he lost control and crashed. The motorcycle came to a stop in the middle of the roadway near Deer Flat Road, south of Nampa, Idaho State Police said in a news release.

First responders transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital with “critical injuries,” police said.

Officials did not release the man’s name.

Idaho State Police is investigating the incident.
