Boise police have been investigating after someone was found dead near a parking garage, causing traffic delays during Monday afternoon rush hour on the main route out of downtown Boise.

At least two of the four lanes were blocked off on Front Street between Capitol Boulevard and 10th Street, according to the Boise Police Department and Idaho 511. By 7 p.m. the road was open again, Idaho 511 showed.

Boise Police spokesperson Haley Williams told the Idaho Statesman on Tuesday morning that police were investigating the death as a suspected suicide.
