Four-vehicle Eagle crash sends two to hospital, closes roadway

A four-car accident in Eagle late Wednesday morning sent two people to the hospital and closed South Eagle Road for about 30 minutes.
Several emergency responders were dispatched to the crash on South Eagle Road and East Island Wood Drive at 11:35 a.m. Two people in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital, according to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
Northbound traffic was rerouted, but South Eagle Road reopened.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
