Motorcycle driver dies in Garden City after hitting parked vehicle
A Boise-area motorcycle crash ended in a roadside fatality on Friday evening.
While driving near East 36th and North Osage streets in Garden City, a motorcyclist hit a parked vehicle at about 7 p.m., according to a Garden City police release.
First responders attempted to perform life-saving measures, but the motorcyclist died from his injuries, police said.
“We would like to remind motorcyclist to ride cautiously and carefully while using safety equipment,” Garden City Lieutenant Tyler Domeny said in a statement. “Garden City, unfortunately, has seen an uptick in motorcycle accidents recently with the motorcyclist being at fault.”
Garden City Police asked anyone who witnessed the accident to contact the department at 208-472-2950.
The Ada County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once family has been notified.
