Treasure Valley woman dies at scene of accident after collision with semi on U.S. 95
An Owyhee County accident involving two vehicles left one person dead Thursday morning.
A 23-year-old man was driving a semitrailer north on U.S. Route 95 just before 7 a.m. when he crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a Ford Explorer, Idaho State Police said in a news release.
The Ford driver, a 65-year-old Parma woman, died at the scene, at about mile marker 31 south of Homedale near Graveyard Point Road, the release said.
Officials have not released the accident victim’s name.
State police are investigating the incident.
