A 22-year-old died Tuesday after a car crash just north of Parma, according to the Idaho State Police.

A 24-year-old man was driving north in a Honda Civic on U.S. 95 and the deceased was a passenger, according to law enforcement. Around the same time, a 25-year-old woman from Kansas was driving south in a Toyota, and collided with the Honda as the driver tried to turn west on U.S. 20-26, police said.

The passenger in the Honda died at the scene. The Honda driver was taken to a hospital by ambulance, and the woman in the Toyota drove herself to a hospital, police said.

They were all wearing seat belts.

After the crash, the intersection of U.S. 95 and U.S. 20-26 was blocked for around four hours, according to police.
