Man dies at scene of Boise-area car crash after vehicle leaves road, rolls into field
A single-vehicle crash left one man dead in Nampa on Saturday evening, according to the Nampa Police Department.
Nampa police said in a news release that the vehicle “left the roadway, rolled over and ended up in a field” at about 5 p.m. near South Happy Valley Road and East Railroad Street.
Emergency units responded after several people called Nampa Dispatch to report the crash.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, despite life-saving measures made by first responders. No one else was in the vehicle.
Police said they are still investigating the crash and will not release the victim’s name until his family has been notified.
