Shattered countertops bring southbound Eagle Road down to one lane. Here’s what happened
A truck carrying marble and granite countertops spilled its load near Eagle Road and Pine Avenue on Wednesday morning, according to a Meridian spokesperson and Meridian social media post.
The incident left both southbound Eagle and westbound Pine Avenue reduced to one lane. The countertops shattered and a spokesperson said around 12:30 p.m. that it would take an estimated 90 minutes to clean up.
Officers were on the scene, the spokesperson said. The social media post urged people to avoid the area. Scentsy and Blue Cross of Idaho are near that intersection.
