Ada County coroner identifies Caldwell woman who died at Boise hospital after car crash

Officials released the name of a driver who died following a Canyon County car accident.

A woman driving a Ford Escape SUV crossed the center line last Tuesday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 26 and Farmway Road, about 3 miles north of Caldwell, the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office said.

She “nearly hit another vehicle head-on before impacting” a Toyota Camry, according to the sheriff’s office. The SUV driver died from her injuries at about 4:52 a.m. Thursday at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, according to the Ada County Coroner’s Office.

There was no information on the condition of the Camry’s driver.

The coroner’s office identified the victim Monday as Kenya Myers, 27, of Caldwell. The coroner listed Myers’ cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries and the manner of death as accidental.

The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
