Ada coroner names motorcyclist killed in I-84 on-ramp crash. Boise police investigating

A motorcyclist involved in a collision with a vehicle Sunday at Gowen Road and the westbound Interstate 84 on-ramp died at a local hospital.
At approximately 4 p.m. Sunday, an adult female on a motorcycle traveling west on Gowen collided with a vehicle turning left at the westbound I-84 entrance, according to a Boise Police Department news release Monday.
The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and died there, the release said. The Ada County Coroner’s Office on Monday afternoon identified the victim as Angela Hopkins, 56, of Kuna.
The crash is being investigated by Boise police, who are seeking witness accounts. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790.
