A Treasure Valley woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Canyon County over the weekend, Idaho State Police said.

At about 3 a.m. Sunday, the 33-year-old Notus woman’s 2010 Dodge Journey, which was traveling northbound, left Batt Corner Road, struck a guardrail and stopped in a canal, according to a Sunday news release from state police. The woman, who was not immediately identified, died from her injuries at the scene.

The crash occurred near Sunshine Avenue, which is less than a mile from U.S. 95 near Wilder.

Two minors were also in the vehicle, and they were taken to a local hospital. Their condition was not immediately known Monday. State police were not able to provide additional information Monday.
