A night watching the Idaho Steelheads this weekend will benefit Camp Rainbow Gold
With the pandemic sticking around, it’s completely understandable that some are still hesitant to hang out in a crowded social environment.
However, for those ready to step out safely, how about an event that puts the “fun” in fundraiser?
The Idaho Steelheads, who have been drawing good crowds all season, will take on the Worcester Railers at 7:10 p.m. Saturday at Idaho Central Arena, 233 S. Capitol Blvd., Boise.
What makes this game particularly cool is you not only get to enjoy some rowdy, high-level, on-ice action, but you’ll be supporting a good cause as well — CRG Night with The Steelheads.
General admission tickets are $15, and $5 from every ticket will be donated directly to Camp Rainbow Gold, a nonprofit organization that provides “emotionally empowering experiences to Idaho children diagnosed with cancer and their families” through oncology camps, retreats and other programs, according to its website.
That $15 ticket will also get you some grub. Feed your face with a hot dog, bag of potato chips and a Pepsi product.
But hurry! The Steelheads’ website shows that tickets are going fast for this weekend game.
