Eat, drink and mingle (with your pet) at Food Truck Rally to support Nampa dog parks
The weather is just starting to shape up, thank goodness!
I bet you and your buddy have resumed those much-loved leisurely walks. I’m sure Lucky appreciates the quality time.
But this weekend, let’s do more than just a walk around the block or two.
Load Lucky up in the truck and treat her and yourself to the Food Truck Rally Goes to the Dogs on Saturday, March 14, at Lloyd Square Park in Downtown Nampa.
It’s a St. Patrick’s Day celebration from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. for pooches and their humans.
Come hungry, because food trucks will be offering up all kinds of grub. Take your pick from The BBQ Guy, Kanak Attack, Coned!, The Rusty Dog, Bunk-Haus, Stella’s Ice Cream, Kona Ice and Dutch Bros.
Enjoy music from Shot Glass (2-3:30 p.m.) and Red Light Challenge (4-6 p.m.), and entertainment by Irish Dance Idaho (3:30-4 p.m.).
What about beer? Right?!? It wouldn’t be a St. Patrick’s Day event without those pints, which will be provided by PreFunk Brewery.
And there will be more than 20 pet-friendly booths to peruse with your loyal companion, ranging from groomers and dog trainers to veterinarians and kennels, as well as a couple of booths selling dog treats.
All proceeds go toward “the continued development of Nampa’s Amity Dog Park, as well as to fund a second dog park in Nampa.”
