▪ A Senior Health Fair designed for those 55 or older is from 10:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Dick Eardley Senior Center, 690 Robbins Road, Boise.
There will be flu shots, blood pressure checks, a foot clinic, hearing and vision screenings, chair massages, caregiver and emergency resources, utility information, and more.

▪ A fiesta-themed Senior Faire is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Nampa Civic Center, 311 3rd St. S.
This health and wellness expo focuses on seniors and their families, providing information on insurance, healthy living, finances, home care, assisted living, future planning, travel and more.
In addition, vendors will provide free massages, and spinal and blood pressure checks.

Free community hearing screenings
Get your hearing checked for free at a screening on Thursday, Oct. 11, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Speech and Language Clinic at Idaho State University-Meridian, 1311 E. Central Drive.
No appointment is necessary, and clinicians will see adults, teens and children as young as 3.
Speech-language pathology graduate students, under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists, will conduct the screenings.
Participants will receive their results immediately, including referrals if further evaluation is needed, according to organizers.
If you can’t make this one, additional screenings are also set for Nov. 8, Feb. 21, March 14 and April 11.
