When someone mentions the Canyon County Fair, you think of barn animals, carnival rides and, if you’re me, funnel cake!
And the fair does offer all those things, in addition to national acts like Old Dominion (July 29, I’m so there).
But the fair takes care of you in other ways, too. The Canyon County Fair has partnered with St. Alphonsus to provide free health screenings all four days of the fair, such as bone density and blood pressure screenings. There will also be car seat safety checks and CPR demonstrations.
And ladies, the St. Alphonsus Mobile Mammography Coach will be on site the entire duration of the fair as well, located just inside Gate 1. Not only can you be in and out in no time, but you will also receive a special gift if you get your mammogram while at the fair. And financial assistance will be available for those who may need it.
