Boise Schools trustee candidate drops out

Stephen Adams, a Boise attorney, has dropped out of the race for Boise School District trustee.

He notified the district on Friday and did not provide a reason.

Three other candidates remain: Incumbent Dave Wagers, president of Idaho Candy Co., Beth Oppenheimer, executive director for the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children; and Monica Walker, a loan officer.

The two candidates with the most votes will be elected to two seats on the school board.

The election is Sept. 6.
