Garden City charter school closes for two days due to ‘high levels of illness’

The Garden City school, ANSER Public Charter, closed Wednesday and Thursday because of “high levels of illness” among students and staff, according to a release on the school’s website.

Friday and Monday were already scheduled days off, so students won’t return to school at ANSER until Feb. 16, according to the release.

The school indicated parents can send their children to YMCA camps in Downtown Boise on Wednesday and Thursday, at no cost to families.

The release didn’t specify what type of illness students and staff contracted.
