West Ada School District names interim superintendent

Joe Yochum, the district's chief operations officer, fills the administrative gap left when Superintendent Linda Clark abruptly resigned Friday, Oct. 23.

The district's board of trustees announced Yochum's interim appointment at a Thursday night meeting. As chief operations officer, Yochum oversees human resources , information technology, transportation and other departments, according to the district's web site.

Clark's resignation came after four months of conflict with trustees.
