Here’s who took top honors in 2021 at the District Three band competition

Timberline won the 5A large schools division and the Mel Shelton Overall Best Music Performance award at Saturday’s District Three high school marching band competition at Boise State University’s Albertsons Stadium.

The Wolves also took first in the sweepstakes awards across all divisions, meaning they posted the top score among the 27 teams competing.

Eagle placed second among all schools and Rocky Mountain placed third. Eagle and Rocky Mountain were first and second, respectively, in the 5A small schools division. Mountain View came in third in the division.

Centennial finished second, followed by Vallivue in third, in the 5A large schools division.

In the 4A division, Ridgevue took first while Caldwell and Middleton took second and third, respectively.

Weiser won the 3A division, Payette took second and Homedale came in third.

Marsing earned the top spot in the 2A division ahead of Cole Valley Christian in second and New Plymouth in third.
