Boise police say that the value of illegally purchased items was worth thousands of dollars.

Two Florida men were arrested after retailers reported possible fraudulent activity, according to Boise Police Department.

The retailers reported the two men — Branden W. Coombs, 25, of Miami Gardens, and Henry M. Sainthil, 29, of Pembroke Pines, Florida — used fake cards with real credit card numbers at several Boise stores Wednesday, according to BPD.

Officers found the men in a store parking lot near North Eagle Road and West Chinden Boulevard Thursday. They were able to find evidence of the fraudulent cards and illegally purchased items worth thousands of dollars, according to BPD.

The card numbers were not stolen from a local victim, according to BPD.

Both men were charged with felony possession of a fraudulent financial transaction card.
