Robert C. Booth, 24, is in the Canyon County Jail on charges of felony aggravated battery and misdemeanor battery.
He was arrested Sunday on suspicion of stabbing his 25-year-old male roommate in the back and punching a 23-year-old woman in the face, according to Caldwell police.
Police say the stabbing was related to an incident that occurred earlier in the day and had been reported to law enforcement. The victim was taken to a local hospital and has since been released, police say.
After the stabbing, police said, Booth fled on foot. Officers spotted him running through an open field.
He was arraigned Monday and is being held on $100,000 bond. His preliminary hearing on the charges is scheduled for June 24.
