2 Boiseans arrested after reported road rage incident
After getting in a minor accident with another vehicle, a Boise man pointed a firearm at the occupants of that vehicle, according to a Boise Police Department press release.
Louis A. Wallace, 31, of Boise, got into a minor collision with another vehicle in a parking lot near West Overland Road and South Orchard Street around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Witnesses said that when he got out of the vehicle he pointed a handgun at the occupants, according to BPD.
Then Wallace reportedly got back into his vehicle and fled the scene.
Police found Wallace’s vehicle near the intersection of West Kootenai and South Phillippi streets. Near the vehicle they also found a baggy with “crystalline substance” and a discarded handgun. Then they found Wallace and a woman who had been an occupant of Wallace’s vehicle, Elean E. Magee, 27, of Boise. Police searched Magee and found a syringe with a crystal substance, according to BPD.
Wallace was charged with five felony counts: two charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, intent to deliver a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and a probation violation.
Magee was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
