Boise man arrested after driving wrong way, swerving near officer
A Boise man was charged with a DUI after driving the wrong way down the Interstate 184 connector and nearly colliding into a Boise Police Department officer Saturday, according to a BPD news release.
Justin Greer, 21, of Boise, reportedly drove a vehicle the wrong way down the Connector near the Curtis Road exit when he faced the police officer’s vehicle (driving the correct direction) head on around 1:05 a.m. The officer flashed his sirens and Greer reportedly swerved around the officer’s vehicle.
Police shut down the Connector and stopped Greer near the Emerald overpass, according to the release.
Greer failed the breath test and was charged with driving under the influence and driving without privileges.
