Shots fired at Nampa home likely not gang-related

The shooting at a Nampa home Tuesday, which left no one injured, is still under investigation but not as a gang-related incident, according to Nampa Police Sgt. Tim Riha.

The shooting was reported around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday near the 500 block of South Chestnut Street. Investigators only found one bullet casing.

They also found a broken window at the home, but couldn’t confirm it was broken due to gunfire. They did establish it was broken from the inside out, Riha said.
