Eagle massage therapist accused of groping client
Detectives with the Ada County Sheriff’s Office say they now want to make sure other clients of Aaron Lee Sundgaard didn’t suffer the same behavior.
Sundgaard, 40, was cited for misdemeanor battery in April and will be arraigned on the charge June 8 in Ada County Court.
The sheriff’s office — which provides police services in Eagle — says a client told officers Sundgaard groped her and made several sexually explicit remarks during a March 1 massage session.
Sundgaard no longer works at the Eagle-area spa where the alleged illegal contact happened, according to the sheriff’s office. Investigators say he told them he’s been a massage therapist for 14 years and worked at three other businesses before joining that spa in December 2014.
Anyone who experienced similar behavior from Sundgaard is asked to call detectives at 577-3744.
Sundgaard has pleaded guilty to battery twice before in Ada County, for incidents in 2005 and 2007, according to online court records. Those incidents were not related to his work, however, the sheriff’s office said.
