Garden City police arrest suspect in Wal-Mart theft, battery case
Garden City police arrested two Treasure Valley residents following an investigation into a Boise theft and battery case, according to a Garden City Police Department press release.
Warne M. Foruria, 27, of Garden City was accused of shoplifting from a Boise Wal-Mart and then hitting an employee, according to a KIVI Channel 6 report.
With help from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office ACTION team, GCPD arrested Foruria, who listed as a fugitive, Thursday near the intersection of State and Vine streets. Police pulled over a vehicle driven by Jessica L. Morris, 25, of Boise. Foruria was a passenger in that vehicle and was taken into custody. Morris was also arrested and charged with trafficking and possession of a controlled substance, according to the release.
The two will both face an arraignment on Friday at 1:30 p.m.
