1 dead after shooting in Twin Falls, police investigating

A male subject died after a shooting in Twin Falls Saturday afternoon, according to Twin Falls spokesperson Josh Palmer.

Twin Falls police responded to a report of shots fired around 3:50 p.m. in the area of North Pine Drive and North College Road, Palmer said.

They found a male individual at the scene who had “suffered at least one gunshot wound,” he said. The victim was transported to the hospital, but was pronounced dead.

No one has been taken into custody on the crime yet, and police have yet to release any descriptions of persons who may have been involved.

“We’re still trying to corraborate witness statements,” Palmer said.
