Caldwell police are making steady progress on their investigation into the shooting of a 34-year-old man Tuesday, according to Capt. Devin Riley.
The victim is still in the hospital, but is now listed as being in stable condition, Riley said Thursday.
Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 1500 block of North Indiana Avenue around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday and found a man who had been shot in the lower back. One of the people at the scene was taken to the police station for questioning as a “person of interest,” police
No one has yet been charged in the case, and the names of those involved haven’t yet been released.
