Meridian mom pleads not guilty to six felonies after stun gun arrest
Danielle Davis faces three counts of assault on a police officer plus charges of aggravated assault and injury to a child.
The 25-year-old mother is accused of brandishing a stun gun and taking her 4-year-old daughter without permission in February, then trying to use the weapon on three Meridian police detectives who caught up with her a few hours later at a Wal-Mart. The officers were not injured, according to court records.
She was arraigned on the six felony charges -- plus a misdemeanor charge of resisting and obstructing officers -- in 4th District Court Friday afternoon and pleaded not guilty to all charges. She is scheduled for trial Aug. 16.
