Washington man convicted of robbing two Boise banks

Kent G. Williams, 48, is scheduled for sentencing May 23 on two counts of felony robbery in connection with bank robberies last April and July.

An Ada County jury found Williams guilty of those crimes Wednesday, with sentencing enhancements for using a deadly weapon in commission of a felony and being a persistent violator.

In a news release Thursday, Boise police asked anyone with information linking Williams to other bank robberies to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
