Meridian drug investigation leads to raid, 7 arrests

Two people face felony drug charges, and five others were arrested for misdemeanors, early Tuesday morning after Meridian police raided an Idaho Street home, KIVI-TV, Channel 6 reports.

Police officers served a search warrant at the home in the 100 block of Idaho and found methamphetamine, marijuana and hash oil inside of the home, KIVI reports.

Randall Joseph Elder, 28, was arrested on a felony charge of trafficking in a controlled substance, and Kolleen Kay Burgess, 53, faces felony delivery with intent to distribute a controlled substance and misdemeanor drug and paraphernalia possession charges.

Five others were arrested on misdemeanor charges of frequenting a place where controlled substances are used: Chantel Ann Marie Bell, Kayla Louise Jacobs, Justin Michael Lee, Abdalla Pili Lamb and Rieley Chanse McClure. Bell, Jacobs and Lee also face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, and Jacobs has a felony charge for failure to appear.
