Man charged with stealing Boise woman’s car, dragging her 60 yards
A Boise woman was injured when she tried to hang on to her car as a thief was driving it away early Sunday morning, police said.
Her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. The suspect, who was known to the victim, was later found in the car in Garden City.
Jerimee Seamans, 25, has been charged with felony aggravated battery, felony grand theft and felony failure to appear in court.
Police learned about the incident when they were called to a report of a battery at about 6 a.m. Sunday near Cole and Overland roads. A woman at the scene reported that her car had been stolen. The suspect and the car were later found near 38th Street and Chinden Boulevard in Garden City.
