Services set for Boise father who was shot to death Saturday
Joshua Warren died Saturday after when he went to a Boise apartment complex to pick up his sons and was shot by a man who allegedly was lying in wait for him.
Services for Warren are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Dry Creek Cemetery, and a GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with expenses. As of 8 p.m. Tuesday, the page had collected nearly $5,000 from 81 people.
"My cousin was on his way to pick up his boys when he was ambushed and murdered in a jealous rage," Faith Jorgenson said on the "Josh Warren Funeral Fund" GoFundMe page. "He was so young and full of life, a young man who put his 2 boys before himself."
Joshua Alberts, 39, is charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond for the Warren killing.
