Nampa man pleads guilty to child sexual abuse

Arion Diaz, 42, of Nampa, pleaded guilty as part of a plea deal on Thursday to two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior, one count of aiding and abetting lewd and lascivious behavior and two counts of sexual abuse of a minor.

Diaz will be sentenced on April 2 in Canyon County.

Diaz was jailed in 2015 after a girl told investigators that Diaz had been abusing her for more than four years, according to a probable cause affidavit. The girl told investigators that two of her female friends had also been abused, according to the document. Diaz was originally charged with five felony counts of lewd conduct with a minor.
