Man stabbed during Downtown fight, Boise police seek public’s help

The man was stabbed multiple times in the torso early Saturday morning, and his injuries were initially believed to be life-threatening. He was treated at a local hospital and has since been released, a police spokesman said Monday.

Officers were dispatched to a report of a fight at 2:18 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of North Capitol Boulevard and West Main Street. Witnesses told police that the stabbing victim was involved in some sort of altercation with a group of four to six men in their mid- to late 20s.

Police searched for suspects but were unable to locate them.
