Meridian police arrested a 17-year-old Meridian boy on charges of trying to abduct two girls, ages 12 and 8.
Zackery Brower is accused of trying to lure the girls in two separate incidents on Dec. 7. The 8-year-old’s mother was near the scene and took photos of Brower’s vehicle, according to Meridian police.
The two attempts took place 30 minutes apart: first near Ponderosa Elementary School and next near Sawtooth Middle School, police said.
On Monday, Brower was waived into adult court, which allowed Meridian police to disclose his name and other information about the case despite his age.
