Ada County Sheriff's detectives arrested Jakob M. Moench, 25, at his home in the neighborhood of Linder and Deer Flat roads Tuesday afternoon.

He is charged with felony lewd conduct for having illegal sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl, and detectives are concerned there may be more victims, according to an Ada County Sheriff's Office news release.

Shortly after Moench’s picture appeared on the Ada County Sheriff’s Office arrest page, a family member of a different girl called deputies to report a similar incident, according to the news release. That case remains under investigation.

Detectives received the initial report alleging illegal sexual conduct by Moench early last week, and a few days later the girl was reported missing as a runaway, the sheriff's office reports. Kuna police, a division of ACSO, found her at Moench’s house on Saturday morning and took her home.

Anyone with information about the cases under investigation or has information about other possible victims is asked to call Ada County Sheriff’s detectives at 577-3734.

The crime of lewd conduct with a child under age 16 is punishable by up to life in prison. Moench had his first court appearance Wednesday afternoon, and bond is set at $20,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 10.
