Boise police seeking information on two car thefts
Two cars left idling Monday morning were stolen outside their owner’s residences.
The first theft took place at 7 a.m. near the intersection of South Phillippi and West Cassia streets. A gray Pontiac Grand Am with tinted windows was taken.
The car was left unlocked, with the keys in the ignition, as the car warmed up.
Four minutes later, a teal 1994 Saturn FL2 was reported stolen from a residence near the intersection of Kirkwood Drive and South Raymond Street, a mile and a half from the first location. That car was also left unlocked as it idled.
A reward of up to $1,000 is offered by Crime Stoppers for tips leading to an arrest.
