Ada County deputy arrested, accused of attempted strangulation
An Ada County Sheriff’s Office detention deputy was booked into jail after being accused of assaulting a woman Saturday, according to an Ada County release.
Troy Eisele, 29, a detention deputy with Ada County Jail, was charged with one felony count of attempted strangulation and two misdemeanor counts: domestic battery and false imprisonment, according to the release.
Meridian police arrested Eisele at a Meridian home Saturday and placed him in jail around 9:50 p.m.
Eisele was put on administrative leave immediately. He has been employed as a deputy with Ada County since March 29, 2015.
Ada County is conducting an internal investigation to determine whether Eisele can remain employed as a deputy.
