Ada County Sheriff’s deputies found 45 marijuana plants and a sophisticated growing operation inside a Boise Bench home last week, the sheriff's office announced Tuesday.

Mark K. Foster, 41, faces felony charges of trafficking marijuana and manufacture of marijuana in connection with the case. He is scheduled for a court appearance Jan. 29.

Deputies began their investigation late last year after developing evidence that Foster was growing pot inside his home in the 3800 block of Rose Hill Street in Boise, ACSO reports.

Deputies served a search warrant on the home last Thursday, Jan. 14, and found 45 marijuana plants, 1400 grams of marijuana trimmings, plus evidence of a large plant-growing operation in the basement including irrigation, grow lights and heaters.
