Boise police are hoping to identify two men they believe may have information about the theft of a trailer full of tools and equipment from a Boise Bench construction site late Monday or early Tuesday.

The men were recorded by a surveillance camera in the area, and police are distributing their images. The trailer and tools were taken from a construction site near the intersection of West Albion Court and South Hilton Street, police said, and the trailer was found abandoned in a store parking lot near the intersection of Cole and Overland Tuesday morning.

Police believe the two light-skinned men were driving a silver or light mint green small car, possibly a Mini Cooper or a Kia Soul. Both wore stocking hats, dark jackets and work-type boots. Anyone with information about the theft or the men is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.
