Nampa man draws 4-year sentence for dealing methamphetamine

Cesar Tellez Tellez had faced up to 20 years in prison. Federal prosecutors had sought a sentence of nearly seven years.

Tellez, 29, made two sales to a confidential informant in Ada County in early October 2014. The informant purchased a mixture that contained between 5 grams and 20 grams of methamphetamine, according to court documents.

At the time of his arrest, Tellez was on probation for a 2013 case out of Canyon County for excessive driving under the influence of alcohol.
