Meridian police are asking the public for help identifying the suspects reportedly involved in the December theft.

The Meridian Police Department is seeking help from the public in finding three suspects in a credit card theft reported in early December, according to a news release sent out Friday.

One man reportedly distracted a female shopper at a Marshalls clothing shop in Meridian while the other man sneaked behind clothing, snatched her purse and took out three credit cards. That man then returned it to the victim’s cart. The third suspect, a woman, reportedly acted as lookout during the incident, according to MPD.

The credit cards were then reportedly used at several Boise locations for purchases totalling more than $1,000.

MPD sent out surveillance photos of the three suspects to help the public identify them.

Anyone with information on the incident or the suspects are urged to call Detective Seth Washburn at 208-846-7342.
