Baby Jesus statue stolen from Boise church's display

The central figure in the Nativity scene at The Journey church, 9105 W. Overland Road, is missing, but lead pastor Mike Boswell told KIVI-TV, Channel 6, that the spirit of the display is intact even if the statue isn't returned.

The Nativity is just a small part of a 50,000-light show the church puts on every night to raise money for the Women and Children's Alliance, KIVI reports.

"Whoever may have taken it, we'd love to invite them to come,” Boswell told KIVI. “They don't have to admit it, but come and join us and become part of us."
