Mark A. Price, 46, of Nampa was taken into custody in Baker City, Ore., Friday afternoon on suspicion of robbing a Boise Wells Fargo bank branch late Thursday afternoon.

Boise police are awaiting Price's extradition to Idaho, according to a Friday night news release.

Surveillance cameras captured images of a goatee-wearing man who reportedly escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Wells Fargo at 7700 Fairview Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday.

Boise detectives developed leads, including anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers, pointing to Price as a suspect, police said. Investigators learned Price had traveled to Baker City, and officers from that city, county and state police helped locate Price and arrested him in the parking lot of a motel, police said.

The Office of the Idaho Attorney General will coordinate extraditing the suspect back to Ada County, police said.
